Their signature blues-rock sound, while undoubtedly their forte, is formulaic. Their songs feel predictable. The simplicity of their music is both a strength and a weakness. The band is straightforward and unpretentious, but lacks musical complexity and depth. And the lead singer's distinctive vocal style, while certainly unique, feels like it has no vocal range.
