Did more for the genre than straight outta Compton and that is a hill I will die on. Some of the greatest beats ever made and I would say there’s a strong argument to be made that this is the greatest gangsta rap album ever made. Easy 5

Hallelujah has always been one of my favorite songs so this shit was at a baseline 3 before I even listened but I had no idea the rest of the album would be so full of emotion. Lover you should’ve come over might be a top 3 track OAT. Very Glad I listened and RIP Jeff, gone too soon

It was decent. Not necessarily groundbreaking to me but this type of music has never really been my style and to be honest I’ve always found it a bit grating. But for this one in particular I can respect the blending of genres and I appreciated the lyrics and the many stories she told. Comfortable giving it a solid 3 and saying this album is the best the conversational female singer songwriter genre has to offer

Good but not great/monumental like Unknown Pleasures. Still a cool listen
