1001 Albums Summary

This is a classic. Love nearly every track on this album. Jenny Was A Friend Of Mine was one of my favorite Killers songs growing up. One of the things that got me closer to Jonny Moon as well -- he was the one who told me the lore behind the music and I found it so interesting. Aw man and of course Mr. Brightside is on this album. Classic track. I feel like this kind of music doesn't really get made too often anymore. This sort of alternative rock. I'm noticing the album cover for the first time. What a cool image with the kanji(?) lit buildings. I wonder where it came from? All These Things That I've Done - 7/10 Good vibe. Really helps uplift me in times of bad. The vocals descend like a staircase in front of a looped background ("yeaaa yeaa"). Like a negative Sisyphus, we're constantly falling but never fallen. The Killers speak so much to me because of the everlasting conflict between my self-hatred and my pleasure at being alive. It's gonna be alright, even after all these things I've done. A good reminder. Solid 9/10.
