1001 Albums Summary

Phenomenal album. Great vocalizing and rap. Loved the Nassau coliseum reference. Classic

Samples not as good as from some of his other albums. He's an objectively bad rapper. Best verses are from other performers.

A very poppy album for R.E.M. with hits like Stand and Pop Song 89. I've definitely heard a lot of the songs on this album before, but none have stuck. Personally, I prefer their earlier less poppy work, but if a pop rock album was what they were going for they nailed it.
