1001 Albums Summary

Excited to start this because I'm not a music person. Listening to this first part of the album while I clean. 1. Thunder Road: Didn't know this one. Didn't do much for me. 2. Tenth Avenue Freeze-Out: Found myself bobbing my head a good bit. Fun song. 3. Night: Liked the back half of the song. Feels like it might not be my kind of album but I'm hearing things I like, so that's cool. 4. Backstreet: Enjoyed the beat of this one. 5. Born to Run: Definitely see why the song is popular. I think I'm just not a Springsteen guy. 6. She's the One: Didn't do much for me. 7. Meeting Across the River: Loved the jazzy opening. Slowed things down a little. Again, totally see why people love this album. 8. Jungeland: Strong ending to the album for me. Definitely enjoyed that one but I don't know enough about music to know why. Boodro Rating: 4/10

I listened to this one while I was driving from Hays to Travis County this morning. I definitely liked it more than the last Bruce Springsteen one. The album started pretty strong for me and I was nodding along to the first several. The back half of the album took a dive. I didn’t recognize any of the songs but I think either the first song or Wild Woman (I think it was called) was my favorite. Not a terrible album and my favorite so far (out of two lol)

Immigrant Song!! Finally a song I know! I also really enjoyed Tangerine and Friends (which I believe I've heard before). Overall, it was an enjoyable listen. I could see myself listening to this if I was a bit older and more into music. It had a cool sound and I'm sure they have more albums on this list.

This one was a nothing album for me. Didn't do anything special. I liked the Marrakesh Express song well enough, but it all felt like background noise to me. I clearly know nothing about music but I just didn't jive with this one.
