this is the type of album you put on after a breakup and drink yourself to sleep. i by no means disliked it, thought it was pretty good, but probably wouldn't reach for it. 6.5/10.

brass in pocket is a gem. i think she has a great voice.

i do like me some peter gabriel but this album wasn't AMAZING for me at least. solsbury hill is obviously a classic, but not my fave.

the jazz flute nearly bumped it up another star. this sounds like a very influential album considering it came out in 1966, but my personal pref made me give it a 2 lol.

at first i thought, this sounds just like steely dan! lol. i think this is like 4.5/5 but i am feeling generous. there were a couple songs that felt very "peppy-artificial-80s-beat" but still pretty good.

i actually kind of liked this.
