Surfer Rosa by Pixies
Nov 28 2023

Favorites were "Break My Body", "Where Is My Mind" and "Oh My Golly!". I didn't exactly like the lyrics - mostly because i could barely hear them and didn't feel like blasting my ears to be able to understand. I realized it was punk rock 30 seconds in and the overall sound did not surprise me, that is, if I take into account the album is 30 years old and a lot of older punk feel 'loud' just for the sake of being loud. Will give two stars because I think I would really jam to the songs I mentioned if they came up at the right time.

The Stone Roses by The Stone Roses
Nov 29 2023

3.5/5 Didn't really feel the first half. The second though, it had its holes, but what a vibe. Favorites were "Bye Bye Bad Man", "Shoot You Down" and "I Am The Resurrection".

Rip It Up by Orange Juice
Dec 06 2023

3/5 80s fuckboy music is not really for me. Instrumentals were good for some of them though. Favorites: "Louise Louise" and "Hokoyo".

Dec 07 2023

3.8/5 Some tracks are kinda repetitive, but good overall. Favorites were "Hate To Say I Told You So", "Main Offender", "Die, All Right!" and "A.K.A I-D-I-O-T".

Locust Abortion Technician by Butthole Surfers
Dec 08 2023

This album was chaotic. Every track felt like they could be in a soundtrack of some old movie. All I had in my mind while I listened to this was these crazy scenarios these songs could be played over. It was interesting, but I can't really recommend the album for anyone. Favorite was "Human Cannonball" obviously.
