1001 Albums Summary

Really interesting album, I had heard some of the songs but not all of them in order. You can’t help but have a little boogie. Wars of Armageddon is a trip on its own. I would like to own this on vinyl one day!

- a lot of eeerrrrrrrrrrrghhhh? noises - baseline in i started something i couldn’t finish>>> - surprisingly vibey, danceable - nvm - death of a disco dancer, baseline again johnny marr? are you responsible for this? - girlfriend in a coma is … alarmingly upbeat. - getting annoyed that i haven’t listened to this in full before. it’s good. annoyingly good. - lastnight i dreamt that somebody loved me is probably one of my fav smiths songs but man it hurts and i wish i didn’t relate to it so much but here we are. moody and blue. “no hope, no harm. just another false alarm” i’ve always loved that lyric. - sycophantic is a good word but i’m not overly attached to this song - johnny marr is a great musician - starting to feel a bit mopey - reached death at ones elbow, i’m glad it’s picked up again. the instrumental is great. - i won’t share you finishes the album off, i get it but sigh… overall, the first few songs were good but it mostly went downhill from there. i still don’t like morrissey.
