1001 Albums Summary

What an opening! No wonder this blew peoples’ minds back then. I imagine listening to it for the first time live. Wow! Great album and incredible artist.

- starting with an everlasting banger, a Hotel California would’ve been a very trippy mind-blowing tune to hear for the first time. - followed by another solid jam, New Kid in Town - the opening licks of Life in the Fast Lane lead to some pregnancies for sure (so far, this is not the soft ballad-heavy album I was expecting; stellar funky jams so far) - ok there’s the soft ballad lol but the string instruments are gorgeous. The other slower/softer songs are nice too. Overall less cheese factor than I was expecting and more funk. Great listen!
