1001 Albums Summary

Good, but not something I'd want to hear over and over

Lots of the same sound in each song. I would have liked this back in the 90s.

I remember lying in the dark with my turntable and three foot speakers. This album was a beautiful journey every time.

Every year the message of PE becomes clearer to me. The US has such a long way to go...

Like any blues album, this has a lot of the same chord progressions from song to song. But done by an African band, it treats the blues with its own brand of rhythms and vocals. At times hypnotic, but ultimately kind of boring.
