1001 Albums Summary

The Battle of Evermore stands out from the rest of the album, and more so the rest of their body of work that I'm familiar with. It's a fascinatingly stimulating piece that I had never even heard mention of before. While the album is by no means niche, it's interesting that Black Dog and Stairway to Heaven seem to have maintained a level of popularity above the rest. Half of the album almost feels like a folk album, which is interesting to me. those songs aren't the sort I would usually associate with Led Zeppelin, but I heartily enjoyed them, all the same.

It's as painfully average as every other Adele album. Three stars for it being her big break.

It's like if Jimmy Buffet and Bon Jovi had a baby, and fed it a bottle of Xanax.

Average Billy Joel album. Enjoyable.

I'm sure it's good, but it's not for me personally.
