1001 Albums Summary

I don't think I will listen to this album again, in it's entirety, and that's the biggest shortcoming, as an album. Liked Candy Says and Pale Blue Eyes the most. The Murder Mystery is unique, but only on the first ever listen. Don't think I will want to listen to it again. I generally like songs you could sing along to, even if it's just a few lines, the murder mystery is un-sing-along-able. Maybe that's the point, but could have been a shorter song with the same novelty. Overall , softer rock, and not a very memorable album.

Needs multiple relistens to give any immediate feedback. Mannish boy being the first song made me think the whole album would be as good, but didn't turn out, atleast on the first listen.
