1001 Albums Summary

Just bluegrass/country but the twist is the band usually does hardcore so the bluegrass/country has hardcore instrumentals and vocals.

Some songs felt very generic. Instrumentals were fun sometimes. Not a huge fan of the vocals but the songs where he sings instead of doing the weird talking thing were good. Also not a huge fan of how many songs were just about sex, that just doesnt appeal to me. Also the one or few songs that were about nature, and taking care of the planet, and war is bad and all that just felt really generic and insincere. Idk. Has there ever been a good song about protecting the planet and those other causes? Is that even possible to do? Am I just too cynical? I definitely have heard several of these songs from when i was growing up and my parents played them. Some are good. Breaking the Girl and Under the Bridge were good, I liked those. Overall, not my favorite rock album ever, but I wouldnt change the radio if any random one out of most of these songs started playing.

smelly teen spirit is enjoyable. rest of the album i could listen to if it came on, but wouldn't necessarily put it on of my own volition. last song was a bit rought but like idk if i could figure out how to end this album either so i kinda get it. overall solid.

idk kinda boring. its just like funk jazz with him singing in falsetto. not sure what's really noteworthy about it so i'm assuming it has cultural/historical significance or something.
