1001 Albums Summary

Not my style, but for what it was it was pretty good. Makes me wanna take a road trip in the eighties and complain about my boyfriend. Instruments and vocals were solid, but nothing jumped out at me. Not too shabby

I don’t know much about jazz, but I know this dude can play the piano. There were time almost too many notes were played and the melody couldn’t really be heard. And I could do without the occasional moan. But the ivories were definitely tickled and it was quite enjoyable to listen to

Some toe-tappers, some head bobbers. But honestly, nothing I was super into. I know it was revolutionary for its time and the music itself was tight, but punk has come so far from this. Your grandpa certainly thought this was as extreme music could get.

The band’s magnum opus. Every song hits. Stairway is obviously in contention for greatest song of all time, and Going to California is my favorite from Zeppelin. Truly deserves its place in rock history
