It's an easy listen and has some nice mellow tunes in there. It's a little too soft for me but I can see a situation when I would put this on to relax. I'm not sure if it's an album I'd come to again but there are a few good songs that I'd add to my regular playlist if Neil Young still had this songs on Spotify.
Good sounds. My kind of music. Great guitar riffs. However, I would have liked to hear more variety and creativity between the songs. It feels like they found their sound and stuck with it rather than try out new stuff. Overall, a solid album for the genre and there are a few great songs that I'll add to my regular playlist.
I'm just a casual jazz fan, but I regularly listen to jazz as background noise while doing something else. I found this album to be powerful enough to pull my focus back onto the music even was I was doing something else. I'll definitely add this album into my rotation.
This was a great listen. There were a couple of great tracks on there that are classics, and a few that I never heard before but clicked with me. This isn't a genre I listen to all that much but I'll definitely check out some more of it after listening to this album!
There are a couple of good, recognizable songs in this album for anyone who was a teenager around the year 2000. Outside of these songs though, the rest of the album feel quite bland and rinse and repeat. If I listened to the full album when I first heard this song I'm sure I would have really liked, if not loved, it. Now though, while it's not a bad listen, I would rather listen to straight up rap, metal, grunge, hip-hop etc. than an album that includes those elements but doesn't do enough with them.
