1001 Albums Summary

I really enjoyed break in through to the other side. It’s a song I had heard before in movies and tv shows but didn’t know what band it came from. I love soul kitchen (Mono) and The Crystal Ship (Mono). I also don’t mind Twentieth Century Fox. Lastly, the song The End is a lengthy song that journeyed through a wide range of music styles and emotions.

One of the best albums I’ve listened to. I love the r&b elements. Otis is such a treasure. This album holds such classic songs.. change gone come, satisfaction, and respect are my favorites. Change gone come gave me full body chills the first time I heard it.

What a classic album. I loved the songs; the way you make me feel and bad. I REALLY love man in the mirror. Such a good message and it always gets stuck in my head. I see why so many people like him but he isn’t a top artist for me. I’d go back to listen to those individual songs but I probably won’t ever listen to the album as a whole again

I really enjoyed lean woman blues, bang a gong (get it on), and monolith. I loved the instrumental elements and I liked how it was a softer rock album than some of the others I’ve listened to. Overall, I probably wouldn’t listen to it again front to back but I loved this style of rock

I was bummed. I had heard such great things about this album and maybe it’s a sector of rock that I just don’t enjoy but this was a hard listen. I really liked the first 4 songs but everything after that felt flat and annoying. I hope there’s another nirvana album to give this band a second chance!!

The album was okay. It felt so sad and whiny. Maybe I need to listen to it when I’m reallyyy going through it lol

This album was AMAZING I’m so glad it was on the list. I’m adding the first song on my playlist immediately. I loved the instrumental elements. It reminded me of attic monkeys a little bit and I love that

What a great song to open up the album with. The drumming, the trumpets, everything. I loveeed sweet bird of truth. Just a groovy album

I was a little worried when I saw that all the songs were live but oh my gosh I loved it. I loved that you could hear the crowd and I loved his voice. Such a cool album 👏🏻

I LOVED this album. I liked the 90s style of rapping.. very storyteller and off beat. Method man was super cool. I’m so glad I got to experience wu tang for the first time.
