1001 Albums Summary

Had never listened to an R.E.M album all of the way through. This fucks. Love the blend of glam rock and acoustic ballads. Favorite songs Try Not to Breathe, Ignoreland, and Man on the Moon

Unique blend of jazz and prog rock. Love the solos. Great for a long drive

Have not ever been a big fan of prince’s music. Until now! Every song is an ear worm with a timeless groove to back it up. This guy pulled no punches! Favorite songs Little Red Corvette, Free, and Delerious

Such a unique blend of disco like guitar work, 80’s heavy synthesizers and modern indie rock vocals. The first half of the album feels lacking I some ways but Dull Life seems to mark a change in the album as the second half of the album comes back tremendously! Favorite songs: Shane and Fortune, Runaway and Dull Life

Fun blend of blues and indie rock. Favorite songs: Next girl, She’s long gone, Too afraid to love you

Literally pirate rock. In a good way! I don’t see myself frequenting g this album but there is pretty of great stuff to hear. Favorite songs: Fairytale of New York, Thousands are sailing, and lullaby of London

My personal favorite Rolling Stones album! I love the mixture of blues and rock & roll. Favorite songs: gimme shelter, let it bleed, you can’t always get what you want.
