1001 Albums Summary

Before listening: You'll definitely run into a Frank Sinatra song growing up in America and I'm no exception. I've never actually sat down and listened to a whole Sinatra album all the way through though and hope this one delivers. I only recognize a few songs on here so wondering why this album in particular was the one chosen. Heard of "Anything Goes". Also laughed at the song title "Makin' Whoopee". After listening: It's a nice chill Sinatra album I guess, I listened to it while working and had an alright time. If you like Sinatra and crooners then you'll have a great time listening to these oldies, if you don't or are neutral then it's...fine. They kind of blurred together after a while but funnily enough the only song that was stuck in my head after finishing the album was "Makin' Whoopee".

Before listening: I heard a few Sex Pistols songs in passing but never sat down to listen to a whole album. I know they shaped British punk and brought it to the masses so hope to get some insight! After listening: I wish I had lyrics to follow along with.

Before listening: I think I know 1 or 2 songs from this album so it'll be nice to hear the rest of it. After listening: That was really good! More dreamy and trippy sounding than I thought it would be for a lot of the songs. And nice to revisit Yoshimi Part 1 and Do You Realize
