1001 Albums Summary

RATING SYSTEM: 1*: Horrible 2*: Bad 3*: Middle of the road 4*: Good 5*: Amazing ALBUM 1: GREEN ONIONS Rating: 2* This album isn't unenjoyable, but it's as bland as elevator music. Although it has a pretty nice (and classic) title track, the other songs are just somewhat enjoyable but pretty boring covers that only really work as background music. It's not that I dislike instrumentals, or that I found the album super draining to listen to, but it didn't do anything for me, and it was all kind of samey. I wouldn't want to relisten again. Even the pretty alright title track isn't something I can see myself going back to. I was planning to give it a 3, but the album was so uninteresting, and I honestly think it might deserve a 2. The title track and the fact that it's so (boringly) inoffensive (making it still somewhat enjoyable but not interesting) gives it a few points. If I could, I would give it 2.5*, but I chose to round it down. It's just kinda subpar, but I wouldn't call it bad.

I could find absolutely nothing to dislike abt this album and there were no songs that I disliked. While I wouldn't say its one of my fav albums, I rlly enjoyed it and think it deserves my high rating. 4.5* rounded up to 5
