1001 Albums Summary

have heard the albums over a hundred times since my senior year in high school

they sound like radiohead meets queen... i don't dislike.... may need further listen.. just sounds so plastic to me

exciting from the get go... and it doesn't stop... ideal for when you are cleaning and on the go.. wouldn't listen to at night if you are trying to wind down.... gym would be perfect doing aerobics. you can hear the history of rock and roll here

classic.. to think new generation is likely to rediscover rock n roll of the past... will they do so for rap? Out of their catalog i probably have heard this the most. It just flows like the Downward Spiral. Beastie Boys had Paul's Boutique as their opus... this is tribes' opus

of the kim deal era.. this is the album i would consider the most "chill" of the first 4 albums.. this being their third album. I probably like this as much as their 4th album.. but in different ways. By the time this album came out.. they were already blown out in the radio waves by bands that they influenced and gained more notoriety and money. what a a shame. There was still room for the Pixies but they were definitely waning after Doolittle. There's not alot i would listen to from this era but luckily I would still spin this gem every now and then

my intro into rap in general.. this started m... this album is really punk rock.. or as incendiary as punk rock when it came out.
