As a young Hip Hop, Jazz, and Hypnotic Rock lover, this album pretty much served as my intro to folk rock. To say the least, it thoroughly exceeded my expectations, and I will be listening to more of this music in the future.
Favorite Tracks: Teach Your Children, Wooden Ships, and Lady of the Island
Although it is definitely not my favorite album from this spectacular duo, it is an OutKast album. This double album confused me at first, but it grew on me over time. Big Boi’s side of the album, “SpeakerBoxxx”, is full of great tracks and features from Jay Z, Ludacris, Killer Mike, etc. For me personally, it outweighs Andre 3K’s side of the album, “Love Below”. “Love Below” has some great songs. But I also think it has a lot of extra blubber, and some of the songs are dragged out. Nonetheless, this album is as popular as it is in the music community for a reason, and I find myself going to back to this album frequently.

Wow. I love this album so much. From Getz’s whimsical saxophone playing, to Byrd’s elegant guitar playing, it is just perfect. While each song brings a different vibe to the table, they maintain the same theme throughout the album. I LOVE BOSSA NOVA!!!!
Other than the first two songs, this album is an awesome listen. I prefer the slower songs off the album like Going To California and Stairway to Heaven. Robert Plant has a very versatile voice that keeps the album from being boring and repetitive, because I do not think I could handle a full album of his higher pitched voice😂
This album is not very overwhelming, but it’s not a bad listen at all.

Perfect Hip-Hop album. Kanye proved that you don’t need to rap about drugs and violence to make it in the Hip-Hop world.

This album is tied for my favorite Hip-Hop album of all time with Enter the Wu Tang(36 Chambers). From top to bottom, there are no skips on this album(minus that one interlude). Biggie does an outstanding job of painting a vivid picture of his early life in Marcy Projects and of the lavish life he is now living in this album.
