Brothers
by The Black Keys
Long time since I listened to it. Sounds like White Stripes' garage with a more folky blues feel and pop-like anthems. Sonically coherent, and they have their own identity, but it's a bit repetitive. Strong start (Everlasting Light is a classic that stuck with me), dips in the middle and struggles to bring back up the energy. At 53mn, it drags on too much. It feels like every song could be used as background music in TV shows: as enjoyable as it is forgettable. 6/10
