1001 Albums Summary

Interesting album. Some songs are an absolute chore to listen to, but there were a decent half of the record where I got it. Definitely interesting sounds, mixes, and production.

Album was very mid, up until half way through the album. A song popped on where I was like “this kinda slaps.” Only to realize that song was Around The World. But production was flat and not as layered as I would have expected.

Wow. This album was ahead of its time. The production, the song structure, the ambient sounds, the guitar tones. So so solid. Really love this album. Will continue to listen.

You can definitely hear the hints of what would become the iconic Clash sound. The album lacked that high energy, wanna dance punk vibe that other Clash tracks emit. It was meh.
