1001 Albums Summary

Skimming these two albums to catch up. This one is pretty okay. Seems just like an album made to be watched live and misses a lot of excitement over headphones. Could be higher but prob average a 2-3 star.

1. Dont stop till you get enough is a classic. Vibes are immaculate. A lot going on but just the right amount. (5/5) 2. Rock with you - another classic, the singing harmony makes the song along with the bass + the groovy feel. Nice key change. It's so good holy shit. (5/5) 3. Workin Day and Night - song carried by brass and funk feel. Chorus pretty good. nice vibes. This shaker in my right ear kind of annoying at some point it's so loud. Take a break off the shaker man. good song (4/5) 4. Get on the floor - Yeah ill get on the floor with that intro. Seems like a funk album and I love funk. Yeah solid af. Just a vibe kind of missing smth idk what (4.5/5) 5. Off the wall - weird ass laugh but okay... Yeah this is slick. Was underwhelmed for a second, but when gang comes in on "Tonighttttt" it was tight. (4.5/5) 6.Girlfriend - Slow in a bad way. Oh yeah sax solo. Chorus is okay, not super impressed but it still sounds decent. (2/5) 7. She's Out of my life - This so far feels so out of place in this album. Could be cool if this album is supposed to be like a story and this is like the break-up song after "Girlfriend". Nothing notable about this song. Melody was very meh. (1/5) 8. I can't help it - The starting melody is smooth, and I like it. Halfway through I really hope it builds up to something. :( This song could've been easy 4-5, but it just didn't do anything with the build-up. Did like the melody though. (2.5/5) 9. It's the Falling in Love - This is pretty decent so far. melody good + background. Good vibes all around nothing really notable. Just a pretty good song. (3/5) 10. Burn this disco out - almost a Stevie wonder opening lol. This song is great. Crazy vibes. Killer (4.5/5).
