1001 Albums Summary

The literal first lyric being "Do I stress you out?" is a mood. "You Oughta Know" is a song I didn't know I knew. So is "Head Over Feet." So is VERY MUCH "Ironic." "Hand in My Pocket" is a good making do song. First impression of "You Learn" is a little too repetitive. "Wake Up" has delicious flowy harmonies.

I feel like every single song on this album was a hit. I know basically everything here despite never having outright listened to this album before. It's so crazy for an entire album to be that absorbable by cultural osmosis.

Overall, not really my taste. I liked "Selfish" and "Flowers." And a few good lyrics I caught here and there in other things.

Gave up 1/3 of the way through this one. Rap isn't my thing and it seems like all the lyrics are just about being crude and/or a criminal.

A little more waily than I like, but I enjoyed it well enough.
