1001 Albums Summary

This was mostly not for me. Definitely can hear it as a midpoint between a lot of the acid freeform stuff of the late 1960s and the more tightly produced late 1970s/early 1980s. The sounds of frantic caged animals in the last track was disturbing and almost made me shut it off on the last 5 minutes. I stayed for the end but was glad it was over.

I love this album. I discovered almost 25 years ago toward the end of college and it remains one of my favorite albums of all time. It's soulful and beautiful.
