1001 Albums Summary

Very good funk rock, includes bangers such as the title track and can you get to that. The record was front loaded I feel, as I didn’t enjoy the second half as much.

One of the best rock albums of all time personally. Every riff slaps, Bonham’s drumming is super tight, and of course Robert Plant’s vocals are energetic and full of personality. The more upbeat and fun tracks like Black Dog and Misty Mountain Hop are great, while the more emotional cuts like Going To California do an excellent job at keeping the listener engaged although they are slower paced. Overall the only small issue with this project is that I wish it was longer, but at the end of the day the super tight tracklist makes it flow better. 9.5/10
