This was the first time I had listened to Otis Redding, and I enjoyed this album quite a lot. Though I would have been more interested in hearing original works, Redding's rich soul-filled vocals lend themselves well to these covers. The only criticism I have is that the instrumentals are a bit hit or miss. None of them are outright bad, but a few tracks have more impactful instrumentals than others. This album is still great though, and I'm looking forward to exploring more of Otis Redding's music.
