1001 Albums Summary

Classic album, didn’t like all the interludes but gotta love the hits on here

Seamless live album with killer individual performances. Can see why it’s in the National Archives

Enjoyed at the beginning. Not really into indie-style (probably not indie but still) so lost interest the second half. Putting my indie bias aside thought it was a chill album to play on the background!

I was going to give it a 3, as most of it is just meh, but then I heard “Murder Mystery” and physically laughed at the absurdity of the song. On Bright side it got me to listen to The Velvet Underground and Nico, and hear what a good album sounded like

Has some haunting songs, while others are upbeat and fun. Wide range really keeps you engaged throughout the album. Album is the definition of Avant-garde

The hits hit big, and the not-hits fall way flat, holding it back from a perfect album That being said, to rate this anything below a 4 would be very unsmooth criminal
