Sticky Fingers
The Rolling StonesBrown Sugar - Nice Instrumentals, cool intro to the album I can see why its the most listened song in this LP according to spotify, one bad thing about it though is the trumpets in the end sound really off and theyre quite annoying (could be my shitty headphones) Sway - Love the guitar, seems like the instrumentals are always on point, would love for the vocals to be a little louder, could use some better songwriting but the guitar hooks you into the track so its fine. Wild Horses - Again the guitar/instrumentals are the highlights of this track, Sonically sounds really good very nice performance, again i wish the vocals were louder and not so quieted down. Cant You Hear Me Knocking - Okay now I understand this album isnt meant to be about lyrics as much as it is for the instrumentals You Gotta Move - I swear this is a famous meme, like one of those racist ones LOL. *Abdi ate the Nutella* Bitch - Same thing with the instrumentals and stuff dont wanna repeat myself I Got The Blues - Really good track stands out from the rest with its slower pace, seems like this is the theme of the 2nd half of the LP. Sister Morphine - Oh yeah I prefer the 2nd half of this album way more, Dead Flowers - Yeah the whole thematic of the album went over my head till like the 6th track, this track in particular has Americana written all over it. I KNOWW YOURE THE QUEEN OF THE UNDERGROUUUNDDD Moonlight Mile - A decent send off track, my right ear enjoyed that intro. Overall: This album clearly captures the blues and the soul concept more into the 2nd half which is in my opinion the better part of the album. On a second listen i kinda realised the "lower" volume of the vocal is actually a sylistical choice now and it really makes sense. Ending notes: My fav tracks are I Got The Blues, Sister Morphine, Dead Flowers, Wild Horses and Cant You Hear Me Knocking. Will it be a re-listen in the future? Im not really sure but it was a nice album to listen to. Final Score: 3.5/5 P.S I feel like any of these songs belongs to one of those GTA San Andreas radio stations
