The range on this album is just so impressive and makes it really fun to listen to all the way through. Kind of tried to pretend I was listening for the first time. My only hangup is it's hard to hear Octopus's Garden as anything but a kids' song, and that makes it feel out of place. (It comes after Oh Darling and before I Want You/She's So Heavy....) Yes there are universal themes in Octopus's Garden, even serious/adult themes, but still, it's the playful instrumentalizing combined with the surface content... I've never been sold on it.

Vivid lyrics. Storytelling, some of it sad. And some fun cool tempo/key changes - I wish I could remember which song.
