Band On The Run
Paul McCartney and Wings
first album for this ✨quest✨ i’ve started for some reason. i like this one! i already enjoy 70s music and paul mccartney’s work very much, so this album clicked with me easily. for some reason it reminds me of the silk sonic collaboration between bruno mars and the other guy whose name escapes me (my apolo-cheese🧀). 4/5

She's So Unusual
Cyndi Lauper
my reaction upon seeing that my generator refreshed and chose this album was LET'S FUCKING GOOOOO and it turned out to not be an overstatement. i think it's pretty fair to call She's So Unusual one of the quintessential albums of the 80s pop music scene. standout track is All Through the Night, i've listened to that song pretty regularly for a while now. i do think the album slows down a bit right after that song and it kinda shows in the difference in spotify plays lol, but the first half is STRONG!!!! so for that reason, i dub it a 4/5 ❤️ cyndi lauper went OFF

it took me longer to motivate myself to listen to this album compared to the last 2 because i've never heard of it in my life. i figured it couldn't be too bad if it was released in my birth year, WELL turns out that's true and in fact, i was pleasantly surprised by this one! had no idea going in that this dude was a DJ and did electronic hip-hop, and one of my favorite artists of all time is Daft Punk sooo this genre meshes with me well. i haven't heard enough house music from the y2k era and i'd love to hear more now that i've heard this album. another 4/5 from me, there were quite a few highlight tracks
