Break on Through (To the Other Side) - love the ending, good vocals Soul Kitchen - great concept, pre-chorus hits, transition b/w guitar solo and ending!!?!!??!! The Crystal Ship - kinda Dark Lady-ish, vibey Twentieth Century Fox - not much to say, that organ kinda thing at the back goes hard Alabama Song (Whisky Bar) - best lyrics so far, cool instrumentation, for me its a bit repetitive Light My Fire - slinky 60s vibe, gets better as it goes on, THE ORGAN HITS, the fade out in the middle of the song is so cool, the lil organ at the end hahahahha Back Door Man - kind of a skip, not bad but other songs do what it sets out to do better, unserious in a good way I Looked at You - the median song on the album End of the Night - emotional, mysterious, cool instruments, we're back Take It as It Comes - short and impactful The End - perfect ending for this album, not a replay song tho, cool story

This album was made at a specific point in time, for a very particular group of people. Whether it translates in modernity is a whole other question, but perhaps this album is best judged looking back, rather then what's infront of you currently.

Underrated, but classic. Way ahead of it's time.
