1001 Albums Summary

Day 0: It's like a vintage Amy Winehouse. Her voice is easy on the ears and versatile in the sense that it flows dynamically between notes and cadences. I especially like this little trill she does at the end of some lyrics, which is hard to explain. It's not very consistent, however, some are definitely better than others and there are two or three misses. In terms of life: recently broke up with Femke, am trying to get a job, pretty depresso and yeah, nothing that I haven't known for the last 5 years.

So many incredible songs on here but also a couple of duds. Still sounds remarkably modern now I think about it. Production quality hasn't gone down at all, or at least doesn't seem any lesser comparing to modern music. George's sitar song is a miss, Mr. Kite is strange but not intriguingly so, and Good Morning is . . . I know I didn't like it but I don't even remember why. All in all, great album dragged down by a couple duds.

Good collection but boring album.

Would've been much better withour Axl. Sorry man, just kind of my opinion.

Great live album with not one bad performance. It does begin to blend together during the middle section, but it picks up again as the end approaches.

Liked it. Great album full of gentle songs, but there are some misses on it.
