1001 Albums Summary

A journey through life searching for love and meaning. Ends as a reflection and a harvest of the fruits of life and adventure. The mellowness, particularly the almost dreamier parts of the album strikes a chord with me. It's like a wandering journey through the years, beginning and ending with the old man's self reflection. Overall a great number from Neil - as a metalhead this album provides a rest from the heaviness of hard rock and core. Don't get me wrong, I listen to as much of the stuff as the next man, but at times the ears need a break. 17 and already have early tinnitus! 8.5/10 - looking forward to checking out the remainder of what Mr Young has to offer!
