1001 Albums Summary

(hello everyone :) thx for having me) Ohhh Ms Dy-na-mi-tee This was so fun and easy for me to listen to (unlike the last two albums that I couldn’t make work at 8am). Had me consistently head bopping 👍 Big fan of predictable boom bap splat sounds so what else can I give it than a 4.

Helloo happy new year everyone:—) So I liked the first couple of songs and then it became really repetitive and I checked out. Peter piper was exciting, made me imagine an alternative universe where I breakdance on a piece of cardboard by day and then go into a battle at night and totally win. But by the end of the album I was brought back to reality of washing the dishes my dishwasher didn’t want to wash. I sounds like these guys had a lot fun recording this album though, we love a collaborative effort 👏👏 it would get a 4 different live or in a different environment. 3 baby freezes and it’s like that and that’s the way it is

I have to admit, I listened to this album in the background while working (ojojoj), BUT what an album to listen to in the background while working! All the sudden the thesis wrote itself?? Got me going for a bathroom break like this 💃 Beautiful and relaxing, saved for when i’ll be cooking a romantic dinner just for myself 4 que bueno by que bueno

soo cooooool what the hellll an avalanche of feel good music with crazy samples, great transitions and scratches??? i don’t even really know what more to say, i had a blast. my favorite part was the kid saying “a bird YEAH” 5 anxious attachment styles because The Avalanches better never leave me!

This album made me want to grab strangers’ hands in the street, and reassure them that God will show us the way. Beautiful, soulful, groovy. The only note I have is that songs (around) 2-4 feel repetitive and since I’m a serotonin depleted ipad kid maybe I needed the Right On tempo switch earlier. 4 saved children, bc I’ll be coming back to some songs, but not all :)

I’m back bitches (probably just for one day, but still) I happened to listen to the whole album in the airport which was actually very fitting. Breathe (in the Air) made me melt, On the Run had sick airplane sounds, Money made using my delayed flight voucher at McDonald’s feel very cool, and The Great Gig in the Sky made the middle seat almost romanticizable. This album experience brought to me by Pink Floyd and easyJet was everything I could’ve hoped for—dreamy, fun, tens at some points and euphoric at others. All in all NICE VERY GOOD
