Exile On Main Street
The Rolling Stones
Very good and interesting tracks at the beginning and the end of the album. Very experimental and quite challenging even today. However the middle part is a bit mediocre. It seems to be a more classic Stones sound. Not bad, but also not great.
Overall I loved that loose sound, but the album sounded not that coherent to me. It might grow though.

Yankee Hotel Foxtrot
Wilco
Challenging yet deeply powerful—Yankee Hotel Foxtrot creates an atmosphere that’s both haunting and beautiful. It takes a truly great songwriter to make these songs work so effortlessly despite their dissonance and experimental edge. The album feels raw and unpolished in the best way, drawing you in with its vulnerability. It’s hard to explain, but there’s something about it that feels deeply personal, like it was made to resonate with moments you can’t quite put into words.

Dookie
Green Day
I have to give credit to Tré Cool—his drumming on Dookie is fantastic and definitely a highlight. That said, the songs themselves mostly feel pretty average to me. I understand the album’s importance in American music history and appreciate the wave of bands it helped inspire, but personally, Dookie just doesn’t click with me.
