1001 Albums Summary

I've known who Lou Reed was but never really ever listened to him. This album was pretty good. The lyrics were really interesting to me, especially since some of the lyrics seemed to tackle gender identity and sexuality which is something I wasn't expecting. I think if I had heard this album when I was in high school/college it would be one of my favs but it's not necessarily my kind of thing these days. That's not to say that won't change in the future

Oh! BITCH! I dont even *need* to listen to this. This is one of my favorite albums ever. I fucking love Jeff Buckley and have loved him and this album since I was a kid.

Imma preface this by saying that I've never been a big U2 fan for one specific reason. This album was pretty good, The Edge has a way of finding really sick sounds with his master of effects pedals and his play. Legit blew me away a couple times while I was listening to this album. The drummer's also super sick! Like, I love the extra percussion stuff that he adds in to some of these tracks. I really got into tracks like Acrobat... until Bono's vocals came in. I've always disliked his singing/voice and it's turned me off of so many of U2's songs in the past. That's persists to this day, I dont even know why I dont care for it cause I've listened to a lot of bands with significantly worst vocalists. But for some reason it just bothers me and kinda ruins songs. Other than that I really liked this album.

This album was a fun ride. I was really surprised that there was only 4 songs, but I got so much out of those 4 songs that by the end of them I was craving for more.

Ive never been a big electronic music person (until pretty recently at least). I tried to like this album but it just didn't really vibe with me at all. :(

Thundercats is a god. This was actually one of my fav albums from 2017 so I'm pretty familiar with it already. So many absolute jams from this album.
