Cheap Thrills by Big Brother & The Holding Company

Cool instrumentals, I think the effect of making it sound like a live album despite not being one is very cool. But Janis' voice is pretty grating, made me think of Marge Simpson at times lmao. Regardless, I managed to enjoy a fair few tracks and the short total length works in it's benefit. Very solid.

After The Gold Rush by Neil Young

*sigh* Album number 2, and we've already got a folk/country type album. My greatest enemies... I'm sure this is a great project, seems to viewed as a classic masterpiece, but I don't get anything from it. Annoying voice, dull instrumentals. I can't genuinely criticise it because I'm sure it's great, it's just not for me at all.
