Not for me. Definitely talented musicians and vocalist but the style of music was a bit too pop for me. Some of the lyrics were fun but I think I prefer a little more depth and complexity to music.
I remember when this album came out, feeling very disappointed. It was the follow up to Rumors and I wanted it so much to be like that album. Of course I didn’t understand it at the time, but this was their experimental departure from “mainstream” success. I’ve listened to the album many times since and the only songs on there that are not forgettable for me are Sara and Tusk. There are other songs on this album worth remembering, I just refuse to do so.
I Can’t listen to this album and not think about Pulp Fiction. Love his voice and the overall feel of this album. It is honestly not an album I would normally listen but now I feel like it needs to be.
