Frank by Amy Winehouse
Jan 27 2025

Refreshing piano, sax, and good beats. Very warm sound and good production. Amy's soul filled voice is timeless. I liked this album way more on my second listen.

Licensed To Ill by Beastie Boys
Jan 28 2025

I did NOT know the Beastie Boys were a hip hop band... I'm pleasantly surprised. I can't believe this was their first album. Fantastic beats, great energy, good vocals (though nothing too skilled per se, more so just very catchy). They bridged the gap between rock and hip hop so well. This one will definitely be making it on to my daily rotation.

Rock 'N Soul by Solomon Burke
Jan 29 2025

A relaxing and soul album, but nothing special. Production isn't great, though it was made in the 60s.

Hard Again by Muddy Waters
Jan 30 2025

Good voice, good grooves. Sounds like old school rock and rool mixed with Jazz almost. This dude has got that old school black soul filled voice.

Jagged Little Pill by Alanis Morissette
Jan 31 2025

The album starts off with harmonica, electric guitar, and an awesome voice. Alanis can certainly carry an album.
