Vibey! Funky rigs on bass, totally enjoyed. But not the best album of all times, not all songs hot hard.

70s. Sound of my childhood and memories form the USA - Toy Story, motels, west coast... His rusty voice is like an old cello. The mix of classical music and a touch of country mixed well with ballads - fire.

Beautiful voice! Not my style, but, if i'm in the right mood, the album goes down well! Also, it is too good to be a debut album... 'Intro' is just - wow. I also liked 'October Song' and 'Know you Now'. 'You're just a little booooy, underneath that haaaat..."

It happened that I've listened to the album along with the The Charlatans album 'Tellin' stories'. 90s, alternative/pop rock, etc. Indeed, they seemed to be similar. But the level of energy in this one is so much higher! Makes you feel younger. 'Mrs. Robinson' - my fav, of course.

I didn't expect anything from this album, but it's awesome. There's a bit of Broadway/musical vibe, but the songs are all so interesting that I want to listen to it again and again. Even though it's not my favorite music, it reminds me of Florence and the Machine in style, very good. Best tracks imho: Crucify and Happy Phantom

Beautiful voice. "Down to zero" is a masterpiece! I compared Joan a lot with Tracy Chapman, the manner of playing and singing is similar, but the mood is different! Joan's songs on the album are light, gentle, positive! I also liked track People - so funky!
