This was really cool to finally listen to. I had obviously heard some of it, but it was great to listen to the whole album. My rating is solely based on my enjoyment listening to it because who am I to critique Little Richard? An inarguably influential album that shaped modern rock music.
Just not enjoyable for me. I won’t deny that he’s talented, but the content of this just isn’t it. I enjoy some of his other stuff, but I was forcing myself through this. I understand that it’s supposed to be telling a story and a lot of it is satirical, but a lot of the content still bothers me.
