Melodrama was the backdrop to many a - you’ve guessed it - melodramatic late night drive in my teenage years. From the Louvre to Supercut, Melodrama played to my teenage angst, and grew with me as I experienced heartbreak for the first time. Do I think Melodrama is as strong of an album as Pure Heroine? No, but I love it all the same.
I was excited to revisit this album now that I am indeed 25. Listening to it now though, I found it a bit too melodramatic. But maybe I’m just not heartbroken, and no one has ever felt anything romantic while listening to Adele at the office…
Honestly I didn’t pay very good attention while listening to this album but I think I liked it.

I think I like this, but it was kinda distracting while I worked, so I had to skip a few songs. Then I kinda got distracted and turned it off, but I’d listen to it again
