Schön Abwechslungsreich, A Seite sehr angenehm. Vorallem der erste Track legt gleich mit sehr nicer Instrumentation los, die Jazz Drums, edel. B Seite ist halt ne B Seite xD, is mir etwas zu unfokussiert: zb Leroy Brown sollte lieber nicht zurück geholt werden. Stone Cold Crazy war gut tho. Kann man definitiv machen.
Starts very pleasently with some calm blues and jazz. Usually repetition as found here bores me, yet it works to be relaxing at this moment, at least for most of the tracks. While the album focus and progression is quite good, there was no standout track for me. Ironically, B side gave me better vibes then A side. So guess, a pleasent listen, but I don't think, I would listen again.
OK, first one put me to sleep, not the best opener. But Pearly Queen kinda slaps with jamming instrumental sections grounded by a simple refrain and don't get me started on the Hammond organ. I kinda dig this energy of pop and unusual sounds. Album progresses very nicely, maybe my fav moment right at the middle with No time to live, some great piano and organ work. I would see myself listening to this album again.
