I've heard some stuff from the velvet underground before so I came into this album expecting a lot more than I got. The beats felt lazy and boring, the vocals were nothing special and the lyrics were awful. I was waiting for the album to start for its entire runtime.

I've heard parts of this one before and those parts have been pretty good. Favorite song off of it before listening is Killing Me Softly. After listening to it, that's probably still true. Maybe Cowboys or Zealots are close. Over all, I liked it and I'm glad I listened to it. I loved the reggae themes combined with soul and hip hop. I've heard a lot of Lauryn Hill's and Wyclef Jean's solo careers, but nothing from Pras. I should check him out. Overall, great album. 7.9/10

Feels really aged in the modern day but it’s still enjoyable through the record.
