What a wild ride. As someone who grew up on Dre, Snoop, and the rest of the late 90's and early 2000's hip hop, I am shocked I missed the roots. This was a hell of an introduction with amazing beats and powerful lyrics. Definitely want to listen to more of them,

While I have heard a few Prince songs here and there growing up, this album was honestly a tough listen.

I didn't know who this was before I started to listen to the album, then I realized I knew a few songs, then I realized every song I knew form them was on the same album. This was a rare album for me where the singles didn't land for me as well as the "unknowns" of the album. Fantastic

Not at all my scene. I can appreciate the classic ‘70 sound. But not great.

Not bad for a debut album, but I have never cared much for Missy.
