Hunky Dory
David Bowie
I do enjoy some of David Bowie's work, but I wouldn't call myself a David Bowie super fan or anything. So, take what I say with a grain of salt.
The most notable and popular song on this album is "Changes," but the rest of the music is something I think mostly David Bowie fans would enjoy, if that makes sense?
The music wasn't bad, just not for me. I would still recommend it to others.

Coat Of Many Colors
Dolly Parton
I am not a huge fan of country music in general. However, this album is much nicer than most modern country music, which is usually just guys with a Southern accent singing about how much they love trucks and women. Dolly Parton's songs seem more personal than shallow. I'm sure if you like country music, you'll probably enjoy this album.

Bringing It All Back Home
Bob Dylan
I don't think I have ever listened to Bob Dylan before. I think the music was alright, if a bit silly-sounding, and I actually liked the harmonica. The music reminds me of a Summer afternoon.
The album is not something I would seek out normally, but it is not bad either.

Lady Soul
Aretha Franklin
I really loved this album! Chain of Fools was a really strong opening song, in my opinion. Found myself humming the song throughout the day after listening to it. The rest of the music is also really good, ranging from toe-tappingly groovy to slow and soulful. Also Aretha Franklin has a great singing voice.

Joan Armatrading
I have never heard of Joan Armatrading, so I didn’t know what to expect when going into this album.
Personally, I really liked this album. The songs are catchy and relaxing, and I liked them all equally. I especially love the drums and guitar used. I could totally see myself listening to this album more often.

Maggot Brain
Funkadelic
This album was… verrrry interesting? The first song, “Maggot Brain,” was otherworldly sounding, if that makes any sense. It was pretty cool, in my opinion. I liked a lot of the other songs on the album, too, except for the very last one, which was “Wars of Armageddon.” It was a shame I didn’t like that one since the name of the song intrigued me the most. However, I absolutely can’t stand the sound of babies crying or flatulence, so the song ended up just annoying the hell out of me.
Despite that, I still thought the majority of the album was good. It had a dreamy vibe to it, which I liked.

Virgin Suicides
Air
I really enjoyed the opening song, "Playground Love," but I do have to admit that the problem with movie soundtrack albums is that the music loses some of its meaning without the film playing alongside it.
The music is good; it is just that it is out of context now, leaving the listener with only one half of the story if they have never watched the film.
I have never watched or even heard of The Virgin Suicides, so I listened to this music without knowing what the music was about, really. I still enjoyed the soundtrack, but I probably would have enjoyed it more if I watched the film beforehand.

Damaged
Black Flag
I am going to be honest, I did not care for this album. Most of the songs just didn't do anything for me. The background instrumentals just sounded very repetitive, and not in a catchy way. I don't automatically think repetitive is bad, but it's gotta be catchy or something.
I also did not care for the lyrics in most of these songs. It's all the same thing. "WE GOTTA FIGHT THE GUY FIGHT THE WAR DRINK BEER GRRRRR I AM SO TOUGH"

I, for some reason, have never listened to The Rolling Stones before. So, I was excited to listen to this album.
The music was nice, but not something I’d personally seek out in my free time. It was slow and relaxing.

I’ve never heard this band before, so I didn’t know what to expect.
The music on this album was not what I was expecting at all. A few of the songs gave me a headache due to how discordant they were (which I understand was on purpose and all, but I just couldn’t handle it), but I did genuinely enjoy some of the music on this album.

Make Yourself
Incubus
This album sounds nostalgic to me. It definitely sounds late 90s/early 2000s. It reminds me of something you would hear in a Club Penguin music video or in old Youtube tutorial videos, haha. Maybe this is causing me to be a bit biased, though, so take my review with a grain of salt.
The album is not really offensively bad or anything. I liked "Nowhere Fast," but I think that was the only one that stuck out the most to me.
However, some songs are... I think an acquired taste. "Consequences" was sorta goofy, for example. I guess the lyrics made me laugh, which is better than the lyrics being boring, at least.

The music in this album wasn't awful or annoying or anything like that. However, nothing in particular stuck out to me. I didn't hate listening to the songs, but I didn't really have an opinion about their music at all.

It was a slow and quiet album, which isn't a bad thing. I think it would be nice to listen to this while trying to go to bed or something.

I'm not a huge fan of blues music. I don't think the music is bad or anything. The singer had a really nice singing voice. It is just not to my taste.
