My favorite part of tribe is the give and take between tip and phife and I’m missing that. I think that’s why I like other tribe albums better but the overall vibe and mellow beats are unmatched
Classic album. Suite Judy blue eyes and helplessly hoping are all timers but I hadn’t really heard much of the rest of the album. The spectrum spans classic 60s rock with warm guitar tones to folky acoustic tracks like wooden ships. The latter really reminded me of Simon and Garfunkel. Overall a fun listen and not too long.
Only listened to half due to time constraints. Very weird and very funky. David Byrne is such a creative guy. Didn’t like all the tracks though. My intro to them was Stop Making Sense which I love. Overall a fun album to jam to in the car.
