1001 Albums Summary

4.7- Beautiful instrumentation. Key changes, tempo adjustments, the harmonies, it’s all masterful. In my opinion, this album was created for the ears of other musicians. There’s so much happening and so much to acknowledge as well as appreciate, but it’s not too much where you get overwhelmed. HIGHLY recommended headphones. The only thing I’d take off for is the lack of actual vocals, but that’s just Pink Floyd. It’s experimental and can’t be everybody’s cup of tea… like all music. My favorite song was “Have a Cigar”

Kind of grew on me. But not really my cup of tea. They seem like they were the pioneers of this sound and daft punk came along and did it better. So I feel like maybe that's why. Like If my kids watched the Chris Pratt jurassic park movies and then watched the original they don't appreciate it as much as I did when I was younger.
